History

The department of psychology at Seoul National University together with the establishment of South Korea in, 1946, was founded in the Arts and Sciences department of Seoul National University. Since then, the department of psychology has fostered exceptional intellectuals who lead domestic psychological academia and contribute to the development of Korean society. Recently, the department has developed into a global educational institution, bringing forth international psychologists and conducting outstanding research.
